Greenhouse gases are the gases present in the atmosphere which reduce the loss of heat into space and therefore contribute to global temperatures through the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases are essential to maintaining the temperature of the Earth; without them the planet would be so cold as to be uninhabitable. However, an excess of greenhouse gases can raise the temperature of a planet to lethal levels.
Earth has several greenhouse gases of relative abundance: water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone and CFCs. Greenhouse gases are produced by many natural and industrial processes, which currently result in CO2 levels of 380 ppmv (parts per million/vol) in the atmosphere. Based on ice-core samples and records current levels of CO2 are approximately 100 ppmv higher than during immediately pre-industrial times, when direct human influence was negligible.
Reducing Greenhouse Gases
These highly specialized plants are especially useful in areas of the world where governmental restrictions make it mandatory to control emissions. CO2 gas plants make proper utilization of industrial by-products as their raw materials. Boiler or furnace fuel gas of any type are generally used as raw materials by the gas plant instead of costly liquid fuel. Constant up grades are made on the designs of our plants enabling us to use methane based fertilizer gases, distillery plant fermented gases, and brewery gas by-products, among others.
We design biomass gas plants with different capacities ranging from 30 kg per hour to 2000 kg per hour depending upon the available input. Waste like hard coke, nut coke, breeze coke and pearl coke are other options taken into consideration.
Distillery plant fermented gases, methane based fertilizer gases, and brewery gases are processed through our Zero Emission plants which provides us with odor-free & food grade CO2. These bio-gas plants are absolutely pollution free, thus, posing no threat to the environment. The CO2 produced from these specialized plants are guaranteed to be 99.99% pure food grade and are quite cost-effective.
